The quickest and easiest way ever to cook sadza - no more standing over the pot and stirring it for hours!
Put in a microwave proof bowl :
1 cup mealie meal
2 cups boiling* water
1 chicken stock cube
pinch of salt
stir well with a wooden spoon
microwave on high for 2 minutes
stir well again
microwave on high for a further 2 minutes
and it's ready!
If you like, stir in a knob of butter and some grated parmesan.
(you can increase the quantity to 2 cups of sadza, 4 cups of boiling water and cook for a total of 8 minutes if you are feeding more people)
* make sure the water is boiling when you add it
